Advice for dating a woman way too fine to be dating you?

I’ve been seeing this ridiculously good looking gal lately, normally I wouldn’t do it because it just doesn’t make sense. But She’s got a great personality and all. Can a relationship work when one of you is way the hell too good looking to be with the other?

I’m way hotter than my boyfriend, but I don’t care!

Honestly though, it’s perfectly understandable to feel that way. I actually felt that I wasn’t attractive enough for my boyfriend, so we had a chat about it. Turns out, he was feeling the same way.

So what’s the deal? It’s a combination of being attracted and feeling insecure.

Why do you feel you’re not good enough for this person?

Maybe she’s just as attracted to you, or maybe she’s more interested in your personality, or maybe a combination of the two!

The point is, this relationship should start off being built on trust and that means you’ll just have to trust her to be attracted to you if she’s still seeing you.

If you’re still feeling this way, go ahead and talk to her about it directly. It’s a great way to get to know someone, ease into intimacy and allow yourself to feel that vulnerability that brings you closer to someone you’re attracted to. Oh, and it makes great pillow talk.

ok, My boyfriend and I have been dating for a little over a year and i found out just recently that he cheated on me with his ex. This isn’t the first time i found out about something like this. I really care for him. and i don’t know what i should do. He really is a great guy, i just can’t trust him anymore.

sometimes it is hard to let go of someone you’ve liked for a while, and even though you care for him, it is obvious he is not totally devoted to you. I say you should talk with him, let him know that he can’t do this to you anymore, and break up with him. It’s hard for people to let go sometimes and step out of their comfort zone, but I think after he has repeatedly done this that it is time for you to confront the problem.

Need advice on good dating ideas?

I just got out of a serious relationship and now am dating a girl that I have liked for a few months. We have been dating for about a month and shes an awesome girl. However I need some advice for some good things to do, either just the 2 of us or with friends. We have done the dinner and movies and we have done other cool things as well. I just dont want to run out of things to do cause I dont want her to get bored of me.

I'm planning to date eventually. But because I'm a novice when it comes to relationships. How do you be careful not to fall to hard for someone and become to obssessive or infatuated if things don't work out? And wear your heart on your sleeve and get hurt. If a guy doesn't return your call or like you back. Do you think sensitive people will always be sensitive when it comes to dating? Any good advice?

Great question. First of all, let me preface my answer by saying that I am almost 40 and work with youth on a regular basis.

That said, sit down now and decide what you want in a relationship. I tell all my youth the same thing. Dating should be used for determining a suitible mate. Do not date anyone you would not marry. Write out your goals to dating. Make them specific. Also write out how far you are willing to go. Be aware that men are visually motivated and respond to provacative clothing. Also be aware that women are emotionally and physically motivated. Therefore, touch can be a very powerful factor incrossing boundaries that you don't want to cross. Make sure that you understand that and use that information when setting boundaries. Most of my teens will not go beyond holding hands and/or an occasional (Very) quick kiss. "Face mushing" will lead to other things.

As far as being sensitive, if that is the way you are, then that is the way you are. Just realize that the average teenager will have their heart broken an average of 6 times in their dating career. Just pick up and move on. If you have your priorities straight to begin with, then it will hurt less each time. It just goes to show that he isn't the guy for you.

Some dating guidelines that really help are ALWAYS double date. Go places where you are never alone one-on-one. Involve each other's families. When you get comfortable with the family, then the relationship goes better. Realize that there will be future "Mother-in-laws" that will insist that you are not good enough for their son. Don't worry about it. Also, for the first few dates, go Dutch. Each one pay their own way. That way, you don't owe him anything if it doesn't work out.

Dont do it. I dont want to be mean at all. so i swear im just giving you good advice. If you are not really that pretty, dating in eighth grade is not an option. Every guy is really shallow, nice but shallow. He may have been nice to you but dont confuse that as liking you. You may see him flirt with other girls . Its different.Being Nice and Being flirty are different. You gotta recognize it.
