Should a guy ask a female friend about dating advice?

I have considered it but i have heard it can upset the female friend because they might like the guy. I just want to know if i should because, if you want good advice about the opposite sex why not ask someone who is from that gender?

I don't see why not. My male friends have asked me for dating advice before. Actually, once, my friend was asking me advice on how to tell a girl he liked her and it turned out I was the girl he liked.

If you're comfortable with the girl and you two have a good friendship then you can ask her dating advice. Even if she does like you, her friendship for you should be able to overcome it. I want my friends to be happy, and if they're happier dating someone else then I'll help them be happy that way. :)

Good luck! <3

How would God comfort people going through bad relationships?

Written by admin on May 5, 2009 – 11:54 am -

If your parents or relatives were going through a possible divorce or just marital problems, what sort of comfort would you give, as a God-fearing follower?
It'd be great to have some advice from a pastor or minister…how would God go about comforting people experiencing these kinds of troubles?

Jesus never had a spouse; perhaps it isn't the end of the world for them to wind up alone, following the Word of God?

From what I can understand I believe God would prefer there no divorce, argument, or other miseries. Where God lives in heaven there are no miseries such as disease, argument, old age or death. God would prefer we have no miseries world-over which would mean heaven on earth. But, this is the material existence and so there are those who do not remember God nor believe in Him. Those who understand God in this world can work towards heaven on earth through their employment and through there devotional activities such as prayer.

Disagreements lead to argument. As arguments get worse bitter feelings may develop. As bitter feelings develop more and more there is the possibility of hatred developing. Therefore, we need to work on these disagreements. We need to invite God into all discussion and debate. When we turn to God as the ultimate authority then this should help to end all disagreements.

How do I learn to trust my husband who has put up with all my distrust and suspicions of infidelity?

Written by admin on May 5, 2009 – 11:53 am -

We have dedicated this marriage before God, which isa first for both of us. I have had fear of abandonment and rejection issues ever since I was 12. My father committed suicide when I was 12. I have had numerous relationships which were very dysfunctional and my husband use to have a sex addiction before we met. I cant seem to put either one of our pasts behind me? We have begun Christian counseling. HELP?

i think when u include god in your marriage it has a better chance of working out. u need to trust god, and nothing else to bring about healing for u and your husband.

What's the difference between dating and having a boyfriend?

Written by admin on May 5, 2009 – 11:53 am -

Is it the same or what is it that makes it different. How do you know you are dating someone. I mean I've been hanging around with some guy, still no kiss but we are going out and do like each others company.

Completely different!
You only DATE when you are single. Dating is going out with many different guys to see which one you want to make your boyfreind. That doesnt mean HAVE SEX with all of the guys you date. You just kind of talk to them, go out with them to the movies and stuff, and get to know them.
Having a boyfriend is the next step. Out of the guys you date, you choose which one you like the best, and that person becomes your boyfriend.

Online dating… true romance possible?

Written by admin on May 5, 2009 – 11:53 am -

So, I've recently tried online dating…and it just doesn't seem like true romance is possible. Basically you're out there looking for someone because you don't want to be alone.
To me, love happens when you grow fond of someone…and start adoring them and the chemistry. Online dating seems to kill that natural procession.
Are you actually falling in love with the person or just trying to meet your need to have someone??..
Any thoughts on this??

I used to feel the same way you do about the situation. I met my current boyfriend online through a dating site. I didn't think it would work, but we've been talking for two months and started dating after a month. We mostly talk on the phone now because it's more convenient, but we still talk online and find whatever time we can to be together. We're both really busy so it's hard. Just make sure it's the guy he's posing as. You never know what kinda of people are out there. Good luck and hope this helps!

Romance in Dating: Does Romance Exist? Can true love still bloom in our cynical modern era?

Written by admin on May 5, 2009 – 11:53 am -

Romance in Dating: Does Romance Exist? Can true love still bloom in our cynical modern era?

A few months ago I had a notion for a few days that maybe, just maybe romance had gone and vanished for good. Maybe I was having an off day, who knows. But it gave me the notion to think about the subject of romance and put pen to paper (well keyboard actually).

Is love and romance dead do you think? I don't think so at all. After pondering the question I came to the decision that romance must be alive and well and living in all of us, it may just be hiding. Well most of us anyway. It is a question that women may be accused of asking more than men. But I know a lot of men who would ask the same question. Listen to me when I say – romance is not dead; even if it can appear to be dead some days. The question is, why do we think its has gone?

Well cynicism doesn't help a romance. And, because in these modern times it's all around, a couple has to work to keep it out of their relationship.

The important thing is that no party is excessively negative or cynical. A wet blanket isn't sexy. And, no one wants to be made miserable. That's not romantic!

Check this link for more advice of why cynicism, sarcasm and negativity is destructive for a romance.

How do you feel about dating an omnivore?

Written by admin on May 5, 2009 – 11:53 am -

I feel really passionate about animal rights, health, and the environment… basically veganism in a nutshell! I think I could manage to date a vegetarian, but it would be really difficult for me to date an omnivore that would tell me, "I respect your decision, why can't you respect mine?" Because I find it difficult to respect the decision to cause harm and contribute to animal suffering, bad health, and polluting the environment.

I was just curious about your opinions!
Vegetarians: How would you feel about dating an omnivore?
Vegans: How would you feel about dating a vegetarian? How would you feel about dating an omnivore?

I am Vegan. I dont think I could ever get serious with an omnivore. Maybe casual dating, but nothing more. I am also very passionate about animal rights and the environment, and wouldnt consider dating anyone who wasnt. We would be too different. I have never met another Vegan, and even Vegetarians are hard to come by. I would hate to say I am settling, but for now thats what I'm doing. I would love to find a Vegan, but it hasnt happened yet. I can say that I would never marry an omnivore. Could you imagine the problems that would arise there? Not saying I am better than them, just that our ideals would be too different.
