Is it possible for an adult to get dating advice from a teenage since the adult has never managed to do it?
Written by admin on February 26, 2009 – 6:50 am -My step nephew has a girlfriend it seems, I have never managed it. (I have social anxiety disorder mixed with Asperger’s Syndrome, not a good combination.)
I would suggest that you deal with one situation at a time. Develop coping skills to manage your social anxiety disorder and then move on to dating. Mature teens will have good advice for other teens, but if you want a mature adult outlook, seek advice from a mature adult.

Who can help me with some dating advice?
Written by admin on February 26, 2009 – 6:50 am -I like this girl that is a couple of years older than I am. A guy that knows her said that if I was at least year older that she would date me. Is it possible that I still have a chance? What do I do?
I think you could still have a chance with her
I’m a girl and I know that, even though it was kind of odd to my friends, I’ve had feelings for a guy that’s two years younger than me.
If the girl feels like you’re at her maturity level then she’ll just forget about your age and like you for you.
:]
Good luck (:

Why do some women choose to stay in bad relationships, then refuse to help themselves move on after it’s over?
Written by admin on February 26, 2009 – 6:50 am -I don’t know how many women I have known who seem to abide by this ‘rule of thumb’ so well. It is almost always these same women who eventually become man-haters, and then complain that there are no good men out there. All the while, they are refusing to get any help so that they can move beyond the pain and suffering they endure. Would somebody please tell me how any of this can possibly make any real sense?
well,guys suck

Why do women (men) stay in bad relationships?
Written by admin on February 26, 2009 – 6:50 am -It seems like women (men) will stay in the worst relationships, but quickly leave a good one. Why do they stay with people who treat them wrong and they are really not happy with? Really curious this really has been bothering me
Usually in the beginning the bad relationships are not all that bad. Then after you fall for them and it starts to get bad the girls think they can't get any better. If the guy is making her feel like shit and doing all the things an asshole does in the relationships, she's going to feel like she's no good for anyone else so why try? I wouldn't say I'm in a bad relationship but, it's not the best. I understand why women do it, and it sucks because you do love that person so much and you just want that relationship to work out so of course, the girl puts her effort and time into fixing it and the guy just doesn't care. The good relationships, I have no idea why. Sorry I couldn't help much.

How does it take to get through infidelity?
Written by admin on February 26, 2009 – 6:50 am -I cheated on my bf out of anger. Its been 3 months and he still keeps in touch with me daily but, says it hurts to see me and spend time with me still. When do you finally let go and start healing? I may be the one who did wrong here but that doesnt mean what happened didnt effect me or how im feeling doesnt matter.
Thanks for your answers, he doesnt want to let go. How do i look at a man i did this to and tell him to let me go? I have no right after the way I hurt I him to tell him anything. Much less im walking away when he doesnt want to…. Yes I love him and it hurts to see the pain I caused him.
u would have to make him understand that u know what u did hurt him, takes time to resolve things like this,u may think that u have no right to say anything but its your saying nothing about it that's hurting him more.

What is the definition of infidelity in a catholic context?
Written by admin on February 26, 2009 – 6:50 am -Me contention is that there is a range of relationships, a spectrum as it were, of relationships. The range spans from casual acquaintances to life long partnerships. It to me seems inconceivable that we should confine ourselves to a relationship with one partner. In a marriage what are the limits to enjoy a relationship with another partner.
I have no problem with a specturm of relationships. At one end of the spectrum however is the relationship with God. There is zero tolerance for any relationship that is not God-centered in the Catholic context. Every relationship is measured as to how it enhances one's relationship with God. After all, the greatest commandment is "you shall love the Lord your God with ALL your heart….."
Next to that relationship is the relationship between husband and wife. That is because in the sex act, the two become one. Again, zero tolerance in the Catholic context for anything that separates that union. And since that union is a fecund union of love, emulating the Trinity, the children are also part of that relationship. Kids are not second fiddle to spouse. They are part of the relationship.
Infidelity in one's relationship with God or one's relationship with one's spouse/family therefore is not tolerated within the Catholic Context.
The second greatest commandment is to love one's neighbor as oneself. And we know that EVERYone is our neighbor. So if one shows more love toward one neighbor than to another, that too is infidelity to the commandment of love. That is the final relationship. And again, in the Catholic context, no toleration for infidelity.
That is the spectrum.
